In a remarkable addition to its accolades, Hyderabad proudly assumes the title of India’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) capital. This prestigious recognition was announced by K Krishna Murthy, the president and CEO of the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), during the grand inauguration ceremony of Microchip Technology’s world-class Semiconductor Design and Development Facility Centre in Hyderabad.
Addressing the gathering, the IESA president highlighted the excellent leadership and thriving ecosystem that Hyderabad has nurtured. He expressed his confidence in Hyderabad as the ideal destination for hosting flagship activities in AI and Machine Learning, emphasizing that the city has become the preferred choice for such initiatives.
IESA, on its part, has been organizing the Artificial Summit from Hyderabad. While the past two years witnessed virtual events due to pandemic-induced restrictions, this year’s summit, scheduled for September, promises to be a grand physical gathering.
Appreciating the city’s exponential growth, the IESA president commended the government’s efforts in transforming Hyderabad. Each visit to Hyderabad unveils further advancements, whether it be in terms of infrastructure development, the establishment of global enterprises, or the State government’s initiatives. The city consistently progresses in the forward direction, fostering an environment conducive to technological advancements.
Krishna Murthy further lauded the unparalleled focus on the technology sector exhibited by IT Minister KT Rama Rao. He acknowledged that such dedication and vision are unparalleled in any other state and play a pivotal role in propelling Telangana and Hyderabad forward.
