Adobe introduced its latest venture, the Adobe Express app beta, equipped with Firefly generative AI, targeting Android and iOS users. With Firefly’s capabilities, the app amplifies text-to-image, video editing, and design features, promising seamless mobile workflows.
Govind Balakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Adobe Express and Digital Media Services, expressed excitement about the app’s potential to revolutionize content creation. The integration of Firefly AI enables users to produce captivating videos, designs, and images with unprecedented ease.
Key features of the this app include Text to Image, empowering users to generate fresh visuals using Firefly AI. Generative Fill allows seamless insertion, removal, or replacement of image components, intelligently filling the replaced area. Text Effects leverage AI-generated styling to craft attention-grabbing text and messages.

Video editing capabilities within app encompass templates, images, music, animations, and real-time caption generation. Users can access an extensive library of content and templates, including Adobe Fonts, Adobe Stock videos, and design assets.
Quick Actions streamline photo and video editing tasks, facilitating background removal and image resizing with minimal effort. The Adobe Express app caters to iOS users with iOS 16 or higher, while Android users need devices with at least 4GB of RAM and Android compatibility.
iOS users can sign up for the beta version due to Apple’s limitations on beta users, whereas Android users can download the app directly from the Google Play Store.
